總統選舉倒數12天，《蘋果日報》委託世新大學民意調查中心所做的最新總統民調，民進黨總統候選人蔡英文仍然維持大幅領先，獲得42.1%支持，21.4%受訪者支持國民黨候選人朱立倫，親民黨總統候選人宋楚瑜雖然殿後，但支持度首次超過1成達13.5%，比起上個月中旬的民調上升5.7個百分點。學者分析，宋在電視辯論政見表現受到肯定，推升民調數字。
近來朱蔡爭論不休的含瘦肉精美豬進口議題，32.1%支持宋楚瑜主張，認為不該進口；29.1%挺蔡英文的比照日韓標準。

另外，民調顯示，45.1%民眾認為民進黨總統候選人蔡英文若當選總統，九二共識是兩岸選項之一的說法，對未來兩岸關係發展並不樂觀；認為樂觀的只有35.7%，比英仁配支持度還低了5.5個百分點。
